MCLEAN, VA., August 17, 2022 – Students For Liberty (SFL) is proud to announce Miami resident, activist, and entrepreneur Martha Bueno as the host and emcee for LibertyCon International, the flagship event for SFL returning after a two year break and coming to the Hyatt Regency in Miami October 14 – 15.

Martha Bueno is a libertarian who formerly served as vice chair of the party’s Miami-Dade chapter, building up their presence in the area. She is a cannabis and cryptocurrency advocate, as well as an outspoken critic of Cuban government oppression. She volunteered on the Jo Jorgensen presidential campaign and continues to work with V.P. candidate Spike Cohen around the country, specifically in Florida on activism that she is passionate about. Both Jorgensen and Cohen will also be in attendance at LibertyCon.

In describing the decision to make Martha the host for the LibertyCon International weekend, SFL Marketing Director Josh Eakle says that Martha “takes her work and activism seriously, but also knows how to have fun and get people excited and motivated to take on the same kind of activism in their local communities and neighborhoods – and that is why she is a fantastic choice to be the emcee for our flagship event.” Bueno made national news recently when she started an OnlyFans campaign page as a playful way to drum up attention for her campaign for Miami-Dade County Commissioner in the 10th District.

Students For Liberty, the largest pro-liberty student organization in the world with students active in 117 countries, is proud to announce Martha Bueno as the host of their flagship event LibertyCon International in her hometown of Miami. The event will be held the weekend of October 14-15 at the Hyatt Regency. Registration for the event can be found at LibertyCon.com and continues to grow as more announcements of presenters and speakers are released.
